General Pressure Sensor Models

Commonly used pressure sensor models are:
 
Magnetic Pressure Sensors: Magnetic pressure sensors measure pressure by sensing magnetic field changes. It uses magnetic principles such as the Hall effect or the magnetic resistance effect.
 
Capacitive Pressure Sensors: Capacitive pressure sensors measure capacitance changes depending on pressure. As the distance or dielectric constant between two electrical plates changes, the capacitance changes.
 
Piezoelectric Pressure Sensors: Piezoelectric pressure sensors measure the electrical charge or voltage produced by piezoelectric materials when they are subjected to pressure. Depending on the pressure, the shape or surface potential of the material changes.
Resistive Pressure Sensors: Resistive pressure sensors measure changes in resistance with pressure. Generally, resistance sensors called strain gauges are used.
 
Optical Pressure Sensors: Optical pressure sensors detect pressure changes with optical principles. Methods such as fiber optic technology or the optical reflection principle are used.
 
Microelectromechanical System (MEMS) Pressure Sensors: MEMS pressure sensors use mechanical and electronic components manufactured on a micro scale. It has advantages such as high precision, small size and low cost.
 
These models are used to suit different applications and measurement requirements. The choice is made depending on factors such as measuring range, accuracy, response time, ambient conditions and cost.
